The Future Police Estate Programme aims to deliver modern, future-proof, secure and sustainable accommodation for policing within the square mile and to support the force's national portfolio, replacing outdated buildings that are no longer fit for purpose. The new accommodation will provide facilities for a diverse range of policing functions including a new headquarters building as part of the Salisbury Square development.
The role will involve managing projects within the Future Police Estate Programme to ensure that the new facilities meet the operational requirements of the force. Projects will include the fit-out of new buildings with furniture and equipment, the relocation of staff from their existing locations to the new buildings, and the clearance and decommissioning of vacated buildings.
As a key member of the team, you’ll use your excellent project methodology and communication skills to identify and define requirements, agree and communicate project scope, and monitor and track project progress to ensure delivery of the required outputs to the specified quality, on time, and within budget.
