Field Service Engineer

Based in Yorkshire – working from home

£40K - £45K + Car + 20% Bonus + 33 days holiday + Double Matched Pension

The Company:

My client is a global market leader within a specialist process industry. This arm of the business designs and manufactures chemical dosing systems for large manufacturing businesses throughout the UK.

They have created a new position within their after-sales department to add more value to their customers in the shape of a field service engineer.

The Role:

The field service engineer will be performing a wide range of activities from day to day, including:

  1. Electrical and mechanical service and repair of industrial machinery
  2. The equipment includes control panels, inverters, drives, relays, PLCs, and safety circuits
  3. Mechanically, you will be working on pumps, valves, and pipework.
  4. Support with installation and commissioning of machinery and equipment on customers' sites
  5. Organising and planning of spare parts for services and upgrades

Required Experience:

  1. The field service engineer will be qualified to NVQ 3 in electrical as a minimum
  2. You could be a service engineer, maintenance engineer, or commissioning engineer looking for a new role
  3. They are open on industry
  4. You must be flexible to travel and work away from home during the week
