Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team in the Financial Services industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in cloud computing, focusing on implementing and optimizing cloud solutions for financial services. Responsibilities include designing, managing, and securing cloud infrastructures to improve operational efficiency and support strategic goals.

• Experience with AWS CloudFormation, Lambda, ALB, Multi-region ECS Containers, and tools like CHEF on Linux.
• Producing high-quality, performant, and well-documented code following secure coding principles. Understanding CloudFormation templates (IaC).
• Knowledge of relevant AWS services used or potentially leveraged in the future.
• Collaborating with Product Owners to understand business and customer needs and how applications can address them.
• Providing input on technical designs, recognizing potential performance and security issues early.
• Managing work using Scrum and Kanban methodologies to support continuous improvement, while managing risks and issues.

Your Profile

• 9+ years of development experience, with strong coding skills.
• Primary experience with Go; familiarity with Java or other languages is a plus.
• Application architecture skills, understanding the benefits and integration of key AWS services.
• Strong engineering practices such as TDD, CI/CD, and pair programming.
• Experience with Cloud Native patterns and designing RESTful APIs.
• Ability to create maintainable, well-structured, and documented code.
• Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., Cloud Practitioner, Developer, or Architect).
• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle and delivering enterprise products.
