Job Opportunity: General Operative at Family-Run Engineering Company

We have an excellent long-term opportunity to work for a family-run engineering company based in the centre of the Medway Towns.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist machine operators by fetching products, loading and unloading onto machines.
2. Move goods around the site, clear up, and perform general ad-hoc duties.
3. Receive training on various cutting machines, providing opportunities for role development.

Requirements:

• This is a physical role involving some heavy lifting; physical fitness is essential.
• Previous experience is not required but a strong work ethic and reliability are necessary.

Working Hours & Conditions:

Hours are from 6.00 am to 3.00 pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime beyond 40 hours per week is paid at time and a half. The position is initially temporary with the potential to become permanent.
