Job description

We are proud to working alongside our client, a well-established national organisation with their search for Plant Mechanic to be based at their site in Preston.


The Role:
  1. Role includes carrying out all routine vehicle maintenance of our own fleet of Plant Machinery to meet industry and company standards.
  2. Diagnosis of equipment and resolving machinery faults.
  3. Work as part of a team, maintaining a good working relationship between colleagues.
  4. Adhere to correct working health and Safety processes.
  5. Keep the working area clean and tidy, reporting any Health and Safety issues as soon as possible to the management.
  6. Carry out any company training and development programmes as required.
  7. Complete job cards correctly and communicate effectively with Workshop Management.
  8. Ensure all aspects of H&S working practice are adhered to.
  9. Diagnosing and rectifying all types of plant faults.
  10. Undertaking any other necessary duties.
The Candidate:
  1. The successful candidate will have experience working with Plant Machinery and ideally Heavy Plant.
  2. Ideally possess industry qualifications.
  3. Plant maintenance: 2 years (preferred).

  1. In return, our client is offering fantastic company benefits and a salary of £40,000-£45,000 plus great benefits.
