Job description

Industry: Aerospace/Defense

Position: Quality Analyst Consultant

Location: London, UK

Duration: Minimum 6 months

Frequency: Full-time

Responsibilities
  • Lead, assess, and investigate supplier quality issues.
  • Perform source inspections.
  • Lead and participate in quality reviews and governance meetings with senior management (Directors).
  • Plan and conduct FAI reviews.
  • Analyze data and generate KPIs on supplier quality performance.
  • Lead, plan, and execute complex cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Define corrective actions and improvement plans with suppliers.
  • Review and approve quality documentation (e.g., dropship forms).
  • Manage RNC/VRNC quality tasks requiring MRB approval.
  • Provide technical support and coaching to team members and stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage DMM in the leader's absence.
  • Participate in executive meetings and PMRs with suppliers.
  • Train and coach suppliers on quality tools.
  • Act as the delegate of the Director on quality matters and participate in Director's meetings.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to defining strategic departmental plans.
Requirements
  • Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102).
  • Commodity experience in Completions.
  • Knowledge of CMM inspection and ability to interpret inspection reports related to manufacturing requirements.
  • Familiarity with Aerospace Quality Systems and international standards.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read blueprints and check dimensional properties against specifications.
  • Knowledge of Discus and Net Inspect systems (preferred).
  • Proficiency in GD&T principles.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in aerospace quality roles.
  • Ability to propose innovative solutions and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Capability to develop strategies for complex issues and perform risk analyses.
  • Ability to work independently as a role model and mentor.
  • Experience in coaching and training team members.
