Facilities Operative (Soft FM) (Inclusive of Cleaning and Catering) (Term-Time Part Time) (Permanent)

Renfrewshire Council is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Facilities Operatives capable of delivering high-quality, modern Soft Facilities Management services in schools across Renfrewshire.

Job Details

1. Cluster: 1 – Paisley North/East

The successful candidates will be responsible for the effective delivery of all aspects of the Soft FM service at the site level, including building cleaning, catering, school crossing patrol, security, and related services.

Applicants should have a flexible approach to working hours, experience in a customer-focused environment, and a willingness to work as part of a team. Previous Soft FM experience in a similar environment and a willingness to undertake training are desirable.

Essential skills include literacy, numeracy, and IT skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office being advantageous. Effective communication with customers and colleagues is required.

Candidates must hold a REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or be willing to work towards it if not already possessed.

Working Pattern

15-hour position working between 15:30 and 18:30, Monday to Friday, during term time.
