Job description

West Essex Community Health Services have a part-time vacancy as Referral Coordinator within the Care Coordination Centre based at St Margaret's Hospital, Epping.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting the clinical team to screen and process referrals for the CCC.
  2. Line management of Band 3 staff.
  3. Ensuring high-quality and efficient administrative service within the WECHS Administration Service, including support and cover in other areas as needed.
  4. Providing comprehensive administrative support to clinical services across localities, ensuring timely and accurate recording of activity using trust systems.
  5. Working collaboratively to cover absences across services and locations, with occasional relocation as required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in administration with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with full training provided.
  • A positive, compassionate approach to supporting patient care, including face-to-face and telephone contact with patients.
  • Ability to build effective relationships, be approachable, and flexible in work approach.
