We are currently recruiting for a FTSE 100 Wealth Management firm in Wallingford who are looking for a Paraplanner to join their team.

The Paraplanner plays a key role in delivering excellent client service. Responsibilities include client report writing, placing investments, and handling administration from client meetings and inquiries.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Managing client financial information and documents, including collating data and updating/creating Client Financial Review documents.
  • Following up on actions from client meetings and responding to queries via phone, email, or post, as delegated by the Partner or team leader.
  • Preparing suitability letters, reports, and financial plans.
  • Completing application forms and documentation on behalf of clients.
  • Transacting complex client investments according to instructions.
  • Serving as the point of contact for providers and third parties regarding technical and administrative queries.
  • Providing updates on client cases to Partners, Advisors, and management.
  • Maintaining and updating the CRM system and other IT systems.
  • Using computer systems to place straightforward investments following team processes.
  • Preparing simple client reports aligned with recommendations.
Skills and Experience
  • Diploma or Certificate in Paraplanning or Financial Planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
  • Good numeracy skills with attention to detail and analytical ability.
  • Ability to apply processes rigorously for efficiency.
  • Experience in office administration within a professional environment.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Assertive and confident demeanor.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Previous experience in Financial Services.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
