Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Central RME team, a key leadership role impacting global markets, with an initial focus on EU Middle and Last Mile. The successful candidate will have proven project management experience and the ability to influence leaders outside their organization. This role involves engagement with operational teams including Operations, Field RME, Global Reliability, and Global Engineering. As a senior leader, you will balance short-term solutions with long-term strategies, prioritizing tasks and growing your team.

Your vision to improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs will be central to the team strategy. This position requires a customer-focused professional with high energy and stamina to execute a 3+ year business plan. You will foster continuous improvement and operational efficiency through innovative solutions and best practices. Key job responsibilities
  • Engage senior leaders and update on project milestones
  • Develop and implement team development strategies
  • Define and execute organizational strategies for customer needs

A day in the life

Your day will focus on project deployment, process development, team growth, stakeholder relationships, and strategy. You will ensure milestones are met, foster collaboration, standardize operations, and develop your team from reactive to proactive. Building strong stakeholder relationships and crafting a strategic roadmap will be essential for long-term success.

About the team

The ELM team manages asset transfer and works across regions including North America, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Africa, Australia, India, and Japan. Their mission is to deliver a seamless building experience, minimizing downtime, increasing equipment availability, and ensuring RME technician readiness. The position is 'Field by Design,' located at any Amazon site in the US, with in-office attendance required 3 days a week when not traveling.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in process, project, or program management
  • Leadership experience including team growth, reviews, coaching, mentoring
  • Change management experience
  • Developing and managing KPIs
  • Building relationships with senior leaders
  • Ability to travel 50% domestically and internationally

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in developing long-term strategies
  • Master's degree in Business or Communications
