Repair Technician/Calibration

A world leading manufacturing business based in Norwich that is recognised for its dedication to providing quality products to the engineering and manufacturing sectors, has a fantastic opportunity for a Despatch Operator to join them at a very exciting time. This business is continuously developing its products and is hugely respected across the world.

Role Outline:

To perform a wide variety of calibration tasks in order to process shipments of instruments to customers in line with provided product specifications. This role will also be required to partake in diagnosis/repair of customer equipment.

Primary responsibilities include:

  1. To calibrate a wide variety of equipment to ensure adherence to defined specifications and quality standards.
  2. To ensure that customer units returned for calibration are maintained in an “as found” state.
  3. Diagnose faults with customers products and replace components to restore prime operating conditions.
  4. Manages the workflow on assigned systems to ensure throughput is maximized and customer lead time requirements are met.
  5. To enter relevant data onto any registers.
