Lime Tree Retirement Village, based in Cawston, is looking for a Housekeeper to work on a zero-hour contract. This is a Bank Position, covering sickness and holidays, with shifts typically Monday - Friday, 9am - 1pm.

As a Housekeeper, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Performing regular cleaning tasks in residents' apartments, such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
2. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
3. Cleaning and maintaining communal areas like lounges, dining areas, and hallways.
4. Fostering good relationships with residents.
5. Reporting faulty or damaged equipment, laundry, or machinery to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
6. Washing and ironing bedding, linen, towels, and garments according to instructions.
7. Upholding hygiene standards throughout the village.
8. Using cleaning products and equipment as instructed by manufacturers.
9. Ensuring a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
10. Complying with health and safety legislation and policies.

Qualifications and Skills required:

• Previous housekeeping experience, ideally in residential or hospitality settings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, compassionate attitude.
• Sensitivity to the needs of older adults.
