Financial Accountant

An exciting new Financial Accounting position has arisen, with a great end-user organisation based in the South of England.

As the Financial Accountant, you will focus on the Fixed and Lease Assets area, managing fixed and leased assets, ensuring correct accounting measures are undertaken, preparing fixed and lease asset balance sheet reconciliations, and administration for the group IFRS 16 tool.

A great opportunity for someone with a good grounding in financial accounting, seeking an organisation offering excellent prospects and development opportunities!

Based in Portsmouth, Plymouth, or Bristol - Hybrid working. Min 1 day per month in the office.

Candidates MUST be eligible for Security Clearance.

Do you have:

1. Previous experience in a Financial Accounting role?
2. Experience in Balance Sheet reconciliations?
3. Strong analytical skills?
4. Any exposure to fixed assets and/or lease asset accounting? (Advantageous)
5. Qualified or Part-Qualified Accounting Certification - CIMA / ACCA / ICAEW / AAT or similar? (Advantageous)
