Job Description

We are seeking a Mobile Seed Plant Operator to join the AGS Mobile Seed Plant processing team, based at Eccleshall, on a permanent, full-time basis.

Your responsibilities will include driving to farms, processing farm-saved seed, checking seed quality, taking samples, and maintaining mobile machinery. You will ensure the site and machinery are clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards. Additionally, you will support the Frontier Crop Protection team with product delivery throughout the year.

About You:

Experience in agriculture, engineering, or grain handling is advantageous, but full training will be provided, including PA1 & PA11 certification. Mechanical or bodyshop experience is a plus.

Your Role Will Involve:

• Operating and servicing the mobile seed plant to meet standards
• Supervising support staff on customer premises
• Assisting the Site Manager with safety checks
• Organising chemical and bag loading for vehicles as per customer orders
• Delivering crop protection products during specified periods
