Company Secretarial Assistant

Location: Holborn, London, UK

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Company Secretarial and Due Diligence Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the global sales team by ensuring timely responses to due diligence questionnaires received from clients, contributing to the company's revenue growth, and will assist the wider business by managing responses to questionnaires received from banks, regulatory bodies, vendors, and other parties. You will report to the Company Secretarial Officer and will collaborate with various global teams to co-ordinate questionnaire responses.

This role will also support the Company Secretarial team by maintaining accurate and up-to-date company secretarial records for Argus' multiple global entities and assisting with the renewal and maintenance of the global insurance program.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide a dedicated support service co-ordinating and responding to due diligence questionnaires received from clients, banks, regulatory bodies, vendors, and other parties.
  • Collaborate with global finance, IT, HR, compliance, legal, and commercial teams to gather necessary due diligence information and documentation.
  • Manage a client due diligence inbox and database of questionnaires, organizing and prioritizing incoming requests and providing regular progress updates to the sales team.
  • Create and maintain a record of key due diligence information responses.
  • Support the team with day-to-day company secretarial administration, including periodic statutory filings, officer appointments, resignations, changes of registered address, partnering with external service providers where required.
  • Assist the team during the group insurance annual renewal process and with the day-to-day servicing of the global insurance portfolio.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Support the Company Secretarial Officer with ad-hoc projects as required.
  • A hybrid role with a minimum of 3 working days in the office each week.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field. Study support for further CGI studies considered.
  • An excellent communicator capable of developing and maintaining effective relationships at all levels within the organisation and with external parties.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • A hardworking and proactive individual who strives to improve processes and team efficiency.
  • Strong time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
  • A resilient and determined character who brings a positive, energetic, and helpful approach.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
