Location: Friern Barnet FWC | Fitness | Permanent | Part-time

Salary: Up to £27,310.40 pro rata, depending on experience

Hours: 10 hours per week

Role Overview

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist to deliver our tailored rehabilitation programmes, utilizing the Nuffield Health pathway and championing our Charitable Purpose. This role involves both remote (digital) and in-person facilitation of exercise, emotional wellbeing support, healthy eating guidance, and goal setting to support participants' recovery. The programme includes weekly one-to-one sessions, group exercise classes (virtual and in-person), and promotes goal setting and self-directed activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and run a series of 12-week rehabilitation programmes.
• Facilitate and deliver live stream and in-person group exercise classes for individuals with varying abilities.
• Promote self-directed activity through pre-recorded classes and journals to enable participants to manage their conditions post-programme.
• Adjust exercises and intensities based on participants' progress and improvements.
• Monitor participants for any deterioration, follow escalation processes, and ensure accurate reporting and data collection.
• Conduct weekly one-to-one telephone coaching sessions focused on goal setting, understanding restrictions, emotional support, and empowering self-management.
