Job description

A leading independent accounting firm is strengthening their Financial Services Audit function, part of which includes bringing a Senior Manager into the CASS Audit team. Whilst this role will ideally be based out of the Central London office, the firm is flexible with locations across the main hubs of the United Kingdom.

General Responsibilities:
  • Undertake CASS Audit engagements from planning through to completion.
  • Support clients with CASS Audit planning and technical queries.
  • Stay abreast of technical CASS knowledge and FCA regulations.
  • Manage a CASS Audit team, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and developmental support of junior team members.
  • Represent the firm as a key client point of contact for CASS Audit related matters.
  • Engage in prospecting, tendering, and general business development responsibilities in line with the firm’s growth ambitions.
  • Ad hoc requirements in support of the firm’s Partners and Directors.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience in a UK practice environment managing a CASS Audit team.
  • A history of prospecting and business development in a Practice environment.
  • Robust technical knowledge of CASS and related regulatory developments.
  • Working industry knowledge of relevant CASS Audit clients, preferably within wealth and investment management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise across all levels of seniority.
