Job description

If you are a natural communicator who loves meeting new people, Cheltenham College seeks to appoint an outgoing Tours and Events Coordinator who is passionate about creating a lasting, positive first impression.

Often, the T&E Coordinator is the first person prospective parents meet, so it is essential that applicants are adept communicators with first-rate people skills to provide the excellent, warm first impression on which the College prides itself.

The postholder will join the College’s close-knit and supportive Admissions Team and will report to the Head of Tours and Events.

Person specification - who we are looking for:
  • Skilled at reading people and situations and able to adapt approach and demeanor accordingly.
  • Capable of working to a schedule while thinking on their feet, managing events smoothly even if plans change.
  • A strong administrator with an excellent eye for detail.
  • Able to apply a methodical approach to meet tight deadlines.

  • Salary: Grade C - salary will be pro-rated to reflect the part-year nature of the role
  • Pro-rata salary (0.84 FTE) ranges from £21,569.35 to £22,290.52 per annum, based on a full-time/full-year equivalent of £25,662.00 to £26,520.00
