Maintenance Engineer – Night Shift
£21.87–£22.50 per hour (£17.50–£18.00 base + 25% shift allowance)
Full-Time | Permanent
Shift Pattern: Sunday–Wednesday (10pm–6am), Thursday (10pm–5am)
Location: West Bromwich

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable, long-term night shift role? Join our dedicated team in West Bromwich, where you'll play a key role in maintaining production equipment and building systems to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and site infrastructure
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
  • Keep detailed maintenance records and logs
  • Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when needed
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures

About You

  • 3+ years’ experience in a maintenance or engineering role
  • Multi-skilled with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities
  • Familiar with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Comfortable reading technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
  • PLC/automation experience is highly desirable
  • Welding or fabrication skills would be an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and a collaborative attitude
