D365 F&O Data Migration Lead / Project Manager

Hybrid – On-site in Greater Manchester, with occasional travel for global rollouts

FMCG – Global End User

£80,000 - £100,000 DOE

I am seeking an experienced and methodical D365 F&O Data Migration Lead / Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of data migration activities as part of a global Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation. This role is best suited to a candidate who brings a structured approach and a reusable implementation template, incorporating business analysis and training as key components.

Our client operates in the FMCG sector, distributing products across more than 100 countries, with future implementations expected globally—South Asia being one of the next key regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end data migration activities for D365 F&O implementation.
  • Utilise a proven, standardised template for D365 implementation that includes data migration, business analysis, and user training.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather, validate and map business data requirements.
  • Support UAT and provide subject matter expertise in data quality, cleansing and transformation.
  • Coordinate and manage training sessions and user readiness activities based on your standard approach.
  • Provide project management leadership, including planning, reporting, and risk management.
  • Ensure all activities align with global roll-out strategy and local business requirements

Essential Experience:

  • Extensive experience in leading data migration workstreams within D365 F&O projects.
  • Strong background in project management, ideally with Prince2 or PMP certification.
  • Proven use of a structured implementation methodology/template including BA and training components.
  • Solid business analysis skills – comfortable gathering requirements, running workshops, and documenting processes.
  • Ability to work with local and global stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in the FMCG sector or other high-volume industries is advantageous.

Desirable:

  • Experience with global roll-outs of ERP systems, especially in South Asia or other emerging markets.
  • Understanding of FMCG operational processes and master data requirements.
