Job Description:
We are representing a Top-Tier Global Alternative Investment Manager with a strong presence in Switzerland as well as in the UK.
To support their strategic development of their private credit business, they are now hiring an Associate Director for their Private Credit Platform that would be strongly involved in the strategy, implementation, and optimization of business processes and systems within the private credit sector.
This senior role plays as an interlink between business operations and technology, with the ultimate goal to enhance investment decision-making, portfolio management, risk assessment, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor industry trends, evaluate competitor offerings, and stay abreast of regulatory changes to maintain a competitive edge.
- Formulate and implement a robust technology strategy for the private credit division, aligning with organizational goals and market developments.
- Serve as the primary expert for private credit solutions, leading business and technology teams in executing the target operating model on private credit platforms.
- Collaborate with other parties to detect and prioritize new characteristics and functionalities that will enhance business processes and systems, assess the impact of changes, and work with IT colleagues on technical solution design.
- Work in strategic contact with investment teams, risk managers, business leaders, and operations teams to identify their needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Simplify the private credit platform as much as possible while ensuring it is as complex as required.
- Manage software licenses, and maintain a prioritized list of enhancements and issues, also taking into consideration vendor relationship management.
- Liaison with external partners to establish priorities, identify critical issues, and communicate updates to the user community.
- Guarantee that the systems are protected and adhere to all applicable regulations.
Your Profile:
- Professional Background: Over 7 years of experience in private credit, asset management, or financial services, with a focus on technology platforms and operations.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with loan origination systems, portfolio management tools, or risk management platforms (e.g., LoanIQ, WSO Web).
- Industry Knowledge: Detailed understanding of the operational, financial, and legal requirements of private credit funds, including closed-ended funds, semi-liquid funds, and Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs).
- Process Expertise: Strong grasp of private credit processes, including underwriting, risk assessment, and portfolio monitoring.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to comprehend business and technical functions and process information swiftly.
- Strategic Thinking: Strategic mindset with a focus on driving results and business impact.
- Multitasking Ability: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills across various organizational levels.
- Communication Proficiency: Fluent in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
