Lead Renewable Energy Surveyor – 28312

Provide technical insight and thought leadership on all aspects of renewable energy risk management.

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

• Conduct detailed surveys of complex renewable energy risks, providing expert guidance to underwriting and other stakeholders, and developing risk management strategies and standards.
• Head up and implement programmes to enhance the understanding and skills of Loss Control surveyors, Underwriting, and Agency colleagues in renewable energy.
• Provide underwriters with accurate, scenario-based estimates of potential losses to assist in making informed capacity deployment decisions.
• Remote role requiring multi-site travel.
• A full valid UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
• Experience in training and upskilling on renewable technologies, potential risks and hazards, and appropriate loss prevention measures.
• Evidence the ability to provide detailed reports for all classes of renewable energy and create guidance documents.
• Previous experience in insurance, underwriting, claims, or surveying (desirable).
• Evidence the ability to identify risk management decisions.
