Job description

POSITION DETAILS – Educational Health Care Case Worker

  • Location – Bradford
  • Start date – ASAP
  • End date – N/A (long-term to permanent role)
  • Full Time
  • Rate of pay – Minimum GBP120 per day
  • Hours – 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Hybrid Working – Work From Home days and in-office
Experience, Training, and Qualifications
  • Experience in carrying out needs-led integrated assessments for children and young people aged 0-19, working collaboratively with service users and professionals.
  • QTS – desirable
  • Significant experience handling tribunals and mediations
  • Excellent IT and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet statutory timescales
  • Knowledge and experience in planning and facilitating person-centred multi-agency meetings
  • Ability to develop EHC Plans from assessments to meet children’s needs and support their outcomes
  • Understanding of issues faced by families with children with special educational needs/disabilities
  • Knowledge of Person-Centred planning and processes
  • Experience in chairing meetings, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and mediation
Eligibility Requirements
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application
  • Two professional child-related references
