In your role, reporting to the Senior Reward Director, you will collaborate with HR colleagues globally and support all regulatory analysis, regulatory filings, policy development, and processes for the global asset management business.

In addition, you will be responsible for providing compensation consulting & analytical support to the Senior Reward Director.

How you'll spend your time...

  1. Support the Senior Reward Director by providing compensation and regulatory analysis. Act as an internal SME regarding remuneration regulation policies and processes.

  2. Work closely with colleagues across HR, review, and maintain all Identified Staff policies and processes for the EMEA region.

  3. Coordinate the preparation of the annual regulatory remuneration disclosures and reporting process in collaboration with Global Operations, Compliance, and Legal colleagues.

  4. Lead and coordinate the preparation for the EMEA Remuneration Committee meetings on a quarterly basis and in drafting and editing content.

  5. Provide analysis, insights, and high-quality solutions-oriented compensation advice to allocated business areas, including but not limited to:

  • Working closely with HR Business Partners to support annual review processes and ad-hoc compensation analysis.
  • Act as a point of contact for HR Business Partners regarding benchmarking and market data.
  • Conduct proactive competitive analysis and recommend updates based on market trends and findings.
  • Support other areas of the Compensation team as needed.
  • Support the Compensation Team in partnering with HR and Operational Risk colleagues to ensure the Risk Adjustment process is well coordinated, compliant, and effective globally.

  • Assist with fair pay analysis and reporting, including UK Gender Pay Gap disclosures and Equal Pay Audits. Collaborate with Compensation and HR colleagues to determine actions and provide analysis for senior leadership.

  • Provide support and advice on local policy, practice, and regulation to US-based compensation partners supporting non-Asset Management businesses in EMEA and Asia.

  • To be successful in this role, you will have...

    • Proven experience as a compensation analyst or similar within financial services.

    • An understanding of European financial services reward regulation, ideally with experience applying pay-out process rules and Identified Staff/MRT identification criteria.

    • A collaborative and communicative working style, both in person and remotely.

    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal SMEs within and outside HR.

    • Strong Excel modeling and presentation skills.

    • An appreciation of the behavioral effects of remuneration design.

    If you also had this, it would be great…

    • Experience with remuneration disclosure reporting for UCITS/AIFMD or similar.

    • SMCR experience (useful but not essential).

    • Knowledge of UK Gender Pay Gap analysis and disclosures.

    • Familiarity with interpreting law and regulation within company culture.
