Role Summary

Aubay UK is seeking an experienced Quantitative Analyst/Researcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in energy commodities trading and quantitative modelling, paired with an advanced academic background in a quantitative discipline. This role involves contributing to projects, pricing complex options, and building models to support analytical excellence in our front office.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven front-office quant experience in energy commodities trading, with a focus on analysis and modelling.
• Experience in pricing complex options and building financial models (e.g., Monte Carlo, multifactor, stochastic volatility).
• Strong analytical, programming, and numerical skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Interest in energy markets and quantitative analysis.
• Proactive problem-solving approach.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement models for Monte Carlo simulation, price path simulation, and other advanced methods.
