Job description

Are you a newly qualified Pharmacist, Pharmacist with community experience, or ACT looking for your first NHS Hospital opportunity? We have a fantastic role for you based in Essex!

Job Details:
  1. Job Title: Pharmacist OR Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) required
  2. Band: 5
  3. Location: Chelmsford, Essex
  4. Organisation: NHS
  5. Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
  6. Schedule: Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm (1-hour lunch break)
  7. Start Date: ASAP
  8. End Date: Ongoing
  9. Rate of Pay: Circa £20 per hour (PAYE)

Role Responsibilities:
  • Perform final accuracy checks on dispensed medication
  • Support the inpatient dispensary team to ensure safe, timely medication delivery
  • Work closely with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians

Working Hours & Contract:

This role offers a flexible working arrangement across Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Friday. The initial contract is for 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
