Job description

Looking to take your finance career to the next level? We’re on the hunt for a Management Accountant to join our A&R team, focusing on financial reporting for our Managed Pubs & Inns business. Over time, you’ll expand your expertise into capital accounting across our group, covering pubs, inns, and wholesale drinks.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Owning key areas of the month-end close process – revenue, gross margin, payroll, overheads, stock, and more.
2. Managing the Fixed Asset Register, including depreciation, disposals, and capex reporting.
3. Analysing variances to budget and previous years, helping drive smarter business decisions.
4. Making financial data clear and accessible for non-financial stakeholders.
5. Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
6. Leading P&L review meetings with operational teams.

What we’re looking for:

1. Part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
2. 3+ years’ finance experience with a sharp eye for detail
3. Curious mindset – you love digging into the “why” behind the numbers
4. Excel pro – confident using it to solve complex problems
5. PowerBI (or similar) experience a plus
6. Navision/Dynamics experience helpful but not essential
