Alexander Steele Recruitment has partnered with a leading FMCG business that has an exciting opportunity for a Materials Planner to ensure that the supply of material meets the production schedule and to maintain minimum stock levels to ensure operational continuity.

On offer:

• Basic salary up to £30,000

Key Accountabilities:

• Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production schedule and maintain minimum safety stock levels
• Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions
• Manage day-to-day order processing and coordinate supplier deliveries
• Identify and mitigate risks to minimise impact on production schedule
• Follow up on material shortages affecting production and escalate issues within the team
• Implement processes to meet standards and targets, supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities

Candidate Requirements:

• A relevant tertiary qualification
• Experience in Inventory, Production, or Materials Planning within an FMCG manufacturing environment
• Good communication skills and ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• ERP systems experience is advantageous
