Job description

Job Summary

Due to our continued growth, we are in search of qualified and focused individuals for a vital role in our Information Technology department. Our Clinical Application Administrator role works closely with multiple departments to help identify technical and user support issues of our internal software applications. This position will assist in troubleshooting, problem resolution and end user training. In addition, you will collaborate with our software engineers while providing exceptional support for both our internal and external users.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between end users and application development teams while maintaining the interests of end users;
  • Develop and implement approaches for the use of software applications as they apply to individual users and study teams;
  • Interpret study protocols, protocol amendments, and other relevant operational documents for system set-up;
  • Import data between systems;
  • Work with internal and external users to ensure file formats meet system requirements for importing data files;
  • Write T-SQL queries to interact with the reporting database when setting up data feeds and integrations;
  • Perform other system-related tasks to meet company objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems (or a related field) or Life Sciences and 3 years of experience in the clinical research industry or 3 years of experience as a system administrator in a health care field;
  • Good organizational skills, very detail-oriented, flexible, and possess good communication skills;
  • Ability to interact with staff and external users from multiple countries;
  • Must be able to work concurrently on several projects, each with specific requirements that may differ from project to project;
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies/applications;
  • Familiar with the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
