Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £130 - £170 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher to join our dedicated team at a welcoming primary school in Grimsby! This is your chance to inspire students, support their educational journey, and create a vibrant, engaging learning environment.

As a Primary Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic and personal development. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to create and implement engaging lessons tailored to each student’s needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a nurturing and inclusive setting where every student's potential can shine!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the primary curriculum.
  • Support students’ academic progress and well-being.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group instruction tailored to students’ needs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to each student’s education and well-being.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students.
  • Keep detailed records of each student’s progress and communicate this information to parents, support staff, and other relevant parties.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
  • Trainee or early careers or overseas-trained teachers are welcome to apply.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships with all members of the school community.
  • Deep commitment to helping students develop their academic skills, exhibiting patience and empathy.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education (desirable but not essential).

  • An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one.
