Supply Chain Security Manager - London

Saab UK, part of Scandinavia's largest defence company, offers innovative solutions in defence, aviation, space, and civil security. With over 500 employees across eight UK sites, we focus on software engineering, underwater robotics, radars, AI, and armed forces training.

The Role: Reporting to the Head of Security, you will collaborate with Security Managers and other stakeholders to develop, implement, and improve security policies and standards. You will lead the rollout of security requirements across the organization, interfacing with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to define, negotiate, and audit supply chain security processes.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing and delivering supply chain security policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
2. Ensuring compliance with UK Government, Saab Group, and contractual security requirements.
3. Coordinating supply chain security audits and maintaining audit records.
4. Engaging with suppliers, certification bodies, and external stakeholders regarding security requirements, threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
5. Supporting procurement and product teams in risk mitigation and security measures.
6. Leading Secure by Design initiatives, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
7. Conducting due diligence on suppliers and information movement.
8. Managing security incidents and breaches related to the supply chain.
9. Developing and maintaining a supply chain security awareness program.

Required Skills:

• UK sole national, with current SC clearance or eligible to obtain it.
• Proven experience in Supply Chain Security and UK protocols.
• Understanding of UK Gov Secure by Design approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Desired Skills: Knowledge of UK Critical Imports Strategy, NCSC supply chain principles, and ISO28000.
