Secondary SEN Learning Mentor

£100 - £110 per day depending on experience

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a Secondary SEN Learning Mentor to work across KS3 and KS4 at a secondary school in the Widnes area. This is a full-time role starting ASAP.

The ideal candidate will have previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience and be confident working with the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

1. Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g., NCFE, CACHE, or NVQ Level 1, 2, or 3) (desirable but not essential)
2. Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
3. Have previous experience working with children within the last 2 years
4. Have excellent knowledge of the secondary curriculum and assessment frameworks
5. Experience in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
6. Previous experience with KS3, KS4, and KS5
7. Provide two references working with children
8. Hold a current DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
