We are eager to speak to motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are keen to join a dynamic HR team as an HR Administrator. The role will support day-to-day administrative tasks for Human Resources, ensuring the smooth functioning of this key function. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, be a multitasker with excellent communication skills, and take a proactive approach to administrative support.
Our client is a fascinating and unique Welsh charity offering hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Initially, the role is an 8-month contract (until the end of August 2025).
The Job
Serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries.
Manage the full recruitment process, including job adverts, interviews, contracts, and pre-employment checks.
Oversee onboarding and induction, ensuring a smooth experience for new employees.
Coordinate the leaver process, including processing resignations, updating payroll and HR systems, and conducting exit interviews.
Raise purchase orders and process invoices.
Manage DBS processes.
Provide administrative support, including note-taking at formal meetings.
Contribute to HR/team projects.
Prepare and coordinate HR documentation, including contracts, variation letters, and resignation letters.
Maintain electronic personnel files.
Person Specification
Ability to plan and prioritize workload, working to strict deadlines.
Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
Strong administration skills.
Experience using HR systems.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good knowledge and understanding of data protection and GDPR principles.
High level of confidentiality.
Confident communicator, both written and in person, at all levels.
Works well as part of a team and on their own initiative.
Salary and Benefits
Salary on offer: £24,000 per annum.
Working hours: 35 hours per week.
Annual leave: 25 days per annum (pro rata).
Flexible/hybrid working: a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.
