The Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Parenting Co-ordinator to work throughout the borough of Tameside. The successful candidate will be expected to support the development of the parenting and parental conflict offer, through a variety of face to face and virtual methods.

About You

You will be expected to hold a professional qualification in a relevant field or comparable experience in Children’s Services setting. You will be expected to have GCSE Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent. Experience of training in parenting programmes and the delivery of these is desirable.

You will be expected to establish and maintain communication with parents/carers of children aged 0-19 years and professionals through the delivery of parenting programmes, one to one support and training.

This role will involve working in partnership with Children’s Centre services including health, family intervention, education and the voluntary sector, to ensure services are delivered effectively and meet the needs of families and young children in Tameside.
