Job Description:

Station Systems Technician (Early & Late Shifts, Level 4) - United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and collaborate with technical experts to make a meaningful impact. Be part of a high-performing team working on complex and critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between 6am-6pm and 12pm-12am.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
  • Attending planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults.
  • Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
  • Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions.
Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals eager to learn, with experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:
  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
  • Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Availability to work 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between early and late shifts.
