Job Description

Currently we have an excellent opportunity to work for our client, a 96-bed forensic facility providing a secure environment across medium, low, and open rehabilitation settings, catering for both men and women with mental illnesses and/or personality disorders.

Salary: Up to £42,073
Position: Mental Health Nurse
Hours: Full Time
Setting: Forensic Hospital
Location: Llanarth, NP15

The shifts are 12 hours on a rota basis to include nights, weekends, and bank holidays. Shift times would be:
• Day Shift = 07:30 > 19:45
• Night Shift = 19:30 > 07:45

Your key responsibilities will be:

  1. Provide high-quality care to patients in a secure, structured environment.
  2. Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver individualised care plans.
  3. Work with patients on their recovery journey, supporting them through challenging rehabilitation stages.
  4. Ensure patient-centered care, adhering to evidence-based practices and values.
  5. Work a flexible shift pattern including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
  6. Contribute to the development of care strategies that promote positive outcomes.
  7. Maintain professional nursing registration and follow relevant healthcare regulations.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:

  1. A qualified and registered nurse (Registered Mental Health Nurse).
  2. Previous experience in mental health nursing within the NHS or private sector is preferred.
  3. Passion for making a difference in the lives of patients.
