C&N Recruitment are excited to be working with a modern British restaurant based in Harpenden. The restaurant is currently looking for an exceptional assistant restaurant manager/supervisor. The restaurant serves modern British food with a seasonal set menu and also has a couple of rooms for guests.

The role:

1. Hire and retain front of house staff.
2. Build team rotas and manage daily service.
3. Lead by example and develop the front of house team.
4. Maintain stock levels and orders.
5. Manage budgets and monitor gross profits.
6. Ensure all company rules and regulations are followed.
7. Proactively seek out improvements.
8. Create an amazing guest experience.

What our client is looking for:

1. Experience working in or managing restaurants.
2. Strong managerial skills and a track record of building high-performing teams.
3. Ambition and drive to be the best.
4. A passion and knowledge of wine.

You will be working evenings and weekends. This is a fantastic restaurant with the owners wanting to take the restaurant to the next level.
