Project Engineer

Hydrogen developer, focusing on a number of key Blue & Green Hydrogen project across the UK, currently looking to grow out their team and bring on a project engineer to support their Head of Green Hydrogen on a number of new green hydrogen projects & on going blue hydrogen projects.

• Support the development and coordination of Green Hydrogen projects, including key initiatives like HAR2.
• Provide crucial support on government funding deadlines, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
• Work cohesively with internal and external project teams for the successful and timely completion of milestones, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented environment.
• Utilise a robust engineering background, with a specialized focus on green hydrogen technologies.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure the fulfilment of technical requirements.
• Support feasibility analyses for key projects, contributing valuable insights to project planning.
• Support on project deliverables, ensuring they align with our strategic goals.
• Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including refineries and government bodies.
• Facilitate effective communication channels to ensure project objectives are met.
• Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Navigate challenges with adaptability and apply problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles.

Experience Required- Project Engineer/ Project Manager

• A solid technical Engineering background, demonstrating expertise in project management and engineering principles.
• Experience in green hydrogen projects is a significant advantage, showcasing a deep understanding of the industry landscape.
• Familiarity with government funding processes and compliance standards, with a proactive approach to staying updated on new hydrogen-specific regulations.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven experience contributing to the development process of green hydrogen projects, including successful involvement in feasibility assessments and project planning.
• Demonstrated ability to apply engineering principles to the design and implementation of sustainable energy solutions.
• Proficiency in project documentation, technical specifications, and report generation.
