Qualifications

  • HNC or above in Land Survey, GIS, Cartography, or relevant field.
  • Experience using AutoCAD and land survey hardware/software.

Salary: £39,829 - £45,696 per year

About the Role

The Council seeks a skilled and motivated individual to join the Cartographic and Mapping Services team within North Lanarkshire Council. This role supports the delivery of The Plan for North Lanarkshire, aiming to improve equality, boost the economy, transform communities, and create jobs.

The Assets & Procurement’s Estates Team manages property services including acquisition, disposal, letting, and strategic management of the property portfolio using the Council’s property management system.

Main Duties
  • Provision of cartographic plan production services
  • Topographical land survey facilitation
  • Land ownership/title deed investigation to maintain the corporate land terrier
Candidate Requirements
  • HNC or above in Land Survey, GIS, Cartography, or relevant field
  • Relevant property experience
  • Experience using AutoCAD and land survey hardware/software
  • Knowledge of land ownership research and GIS software (desirable)
Skills & Qualifications
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to plan work and meet deadlines
  • Must hold a valid driving license and be able to travel across North Lanarkshire
Working Pattern

Monday - Thursday: 8:45am - 4:45pm (including 55-minute unpaid break)

Friday: 8:45am - 4:15pm (including 50-minute unpaid break)
