Job description

This is a fascinating role; working for a dynamic and expanding organisation!

Finance Manager
Full-time - Permanent
£25-30,000 starting salary
Swansea

You will be incredibly commercial, organised to a fault and passionate about your role, which will be integral to the business!

Duties will include:

  • Management of the ledgers; payable/receivable & nominal
  • BACS payment runs
  • Journals, pre-payments and accruals
  • Monitoring of work in progress
  • Monthly VAT Returns & Intrastats
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
  • Daily Bank Reconciliations

You must be IT-savvy with robust exposure to a range of systems, ideally SAGE Accounts. Confidence when dealing with customers and clients is essential, and you must be a customer service genius! This is a highly responsible role; you will be reporting to the external accountant, but essentially you will be a one-person finance team, so your expertise with transactional finance must be able to stand up to scrutiny. You will additionally be performing some office manager duties, so robust administrative skills are required.
