Electrical Design Engineer

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to be a part of a world–leading organisation that has recently grown significantly and invested heavily in the business. They are true innovators in Automation & FMCG machinery.

Salary: Negotiable up to GBP45k + pension, healthcare, paid overtime & gym discount.

Location: Yorkshire based. Ref: 19301

Company: $30M T/O Business. Family Owned. EPLAN Training Available!

The Role:

• Liaise with shop floor electricians, fitters, lean manufacturing team, and QC department related to process improvements, design & safety.
• Collaborate with software engineers on improvements & assist with implementation.
• Recommend new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Produce engineering designs & testing documentation.
• Occasional travel to customers or suppliers.
• Responsibilities include Electrical Design, Schematics & Control Panels.

The Person:

• Ideally HNC qualified in a relevant discipline.
• Experience with electrical CAD packages such as AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, Promis–e, etc. Training on EPlan available.
• Methodical & accurate with excellent communication & problem-solving skills.
• Full training available for the EPlan design package.

The role is commutable from York, Hull, and Scarborough. It may also suit a Control Systems Engineer with CAD experience or an Electrical Project Engineer.
