Location: Riverside East - Stratford, Olympic Park

Hours: 45 hours/week

We’re celebrating our first year at Riverside East – a buzzing venue in the heart of the Olympic Park – and we’re looking for a talented Senior Sous Chef to join our team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who’s ready to step up in their career. The role has the potential to grow into a Head Chef position in the future, making it ideal for someone with ambition, drive, and leadership potential.

About us:

Our food offering includes amazing brunches, bespoke events, and collaborations with some of the best street food traders – think smash burgers, wood-fired pizzas, and crowd-pleasing plates with a creative edge, as well as seasonal canape and bowl food.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the kitchen during busy services and supporting daily operations
  • Developing seasonal menus and specials in collaboration with the Head Chef
  • Championing quality, flavour, and presentation across everything we serve
  • Supporting stock control, ordering, and kitchen systems
  • Helping to train and inspire a close-knit team

What we’re looking for:

  • A solid Senior Sous Chef or experienced Sous Chef (2+ years in a similar role)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills – someone who leads by example
  • A passion for food, sustainability, and waste reduction
  • Calm under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Confidence in managing service and maintaining high standards when the Head Chef is off-site
