Key Responsibilities of the Land Surveyor
- Land Surveying: Conduct land surveys using precision surveying equipment and technology to establish accurate surveys of topographic features and construction reference points.
- Data Collection: Accurately collect and record field data, measurements, and survey results. Ensure data integrity and organisation.
- Data Processing: Create detailed survey drawings and reports using AutoCAD or other relevant software, illustrating recorded details.
- Support: Collaborate with clients and the office to provide survey support.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on survey data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
- 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Proficiency with land surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and standards.
- Full UK Drivers Licence.
- Ability to work independently.
- Flexible with shift patterns, including night work.
