Education Manager
Milton Keynes College has an exciting opportunity for an Inclusion Practitioner to join our Prison Education team at HMP Isle of Wight. As an Inclusion Practitioner, you will provide inspirational learning support to small groups of learners and on a 1:1 basis, focusing on ALS, Maths, and English, leading to employability outcomes, with effective target setting to meet individual needs.
You will be passionate, creative, and empathetic towards our learners, offering knowledge and guidance. The role involves working across the entire prison estate, on all wings where education is delivered.

A Category-B prison with a capacity of 1101. The prison includes various units and offers education across multiple classrooms and vocational workshops. Education hours are Monday to Thursday 9:25am - 11:35am, 1:40pm - 4:50pm, and Fridays 8:25am - 11:35am. Class sizes range from 8-12 learners, with many studying part-time, including distance learning and Open University courses.
The focus is on reducing reoffending through accredited programmes, skills, and vocational training. Parking is free, and public transport options are available.
