Are you passionate about increasing the numbers of fostering households for our most vulnerable children and young people? Use your marketing and communications expertise in this fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact!
The London Boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster, Brent, Hillingdon, Harrow, Hounslow, and Ealing have created a joint fostering recruitment service. Our vision is to have more children we care for living in West London with high-quality, supported foster carers, delivering improved long-term outcomes for children. We want to ensure that West London attracts suitable Foster Carers who can provide the highest standard of care to children in care in West London, with the Hub working to increase and enhance placement choice locally.
Foster with West London leads on the recruitment of foster carers on behalf of eight Local Authorities. The fostering recruitment hub is part of a Department for Education funded fostering recruitment and retention programme, operational since May 2024. Funding has been agreed to extend the programme to 31st March 2026.
The Regional Marketing and Communications Manager will lead the operational delivery of the marketing and communications for Foster with West London. Specifically, you’ll create, lead, evaluate and innovate marketing strategies, and drive regional efforts through a targeted and joined up approach to increase the number of fostering households.
You’ll work in partnership with eight local authorities to develop a cohesive regional marketing plan that complements local level marketing. Which will include a multi-platform digital marketing campaign to help attract and recruit foster carers. You will also engage prospective foster carers, and coordinate marketing and communications across local authorities.
You will be based within the Foster with West London team leading recruitment and marketing for eight West London local councils, with a dotted line to the Communications team at Hammersmith & Fulham Council.
