Vacancy - Weighbridge SCADA Controller
Do you want to play a fundamental role within a team, being responsible for delivering great service to customers, hauliers, and visitors within the Terminal? Are you excited by the opportunity to act as a central point for the operation and information flow of Bulk Terminals? We are seeking a Weighbridge SCADA Controller to join our team at the Port of Liverpool and help us keep the world moving!
Your role
In this role, you will maintain the traffic management system and ensure the safe operation of the site, including Traffic Marshalling as required. You will operate the terminal's SCADA system safely and efficiently, ensuring tickets are processed in compliance with our standard operating procedures. You will operate a safe and compliant weighbridge, ensuring vehicles entering and leaving the site are accurately weighed.
You will communicate with engineers, operatives, and team leaders to discharge vessels, control storage, and deliver products safely and efficiently, ensuring vehicle turnaround times are adhered to or reporting delays to the Shift Supervisor. You will be responsible for operating a safe and compliant Weighbridge.
What you'll bring
You will have excellent customer service and communication skills, combined with strong attention to detail. You will be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and react to change when necessary. With strong IT skills, you will be able to use a range of different software packages.
You will have general knowledge of bulk handling methods, with knowledge of food products, food safety standards, and waste regulations being beneficial.
A full valid driving licence is required for this role.
