Our client is a market leading Office Design Studio based in Central London, They are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Workplace Interior Designer to join the highly talented team. This role is perfect for a design professional with exceptional client-facing and presentation skills who thrives on delivering outstanding concepts and solutions. You will lead design pitches, collaborate with clients to bring their visions to life, and ensure the seamless execution of projects from concept to completion.

This position is focused on workplace and commercial interiors, offering an exciting opportunity to shape innovative environments for a diverse range of clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement and Presentations:

  • Lead client-facing meetings and presentations, showcasing design concepts with clarity and confidence.

  • Develop tailored designs that align with client needs, branding, and organisational goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted design advisor.

Design Leadership:

  • Drive the creative direction of projects, ensuring innovative and functional solutions.

  • Oversee the development of design concepts, layouts, and detailed specifications.

  • Lead design workshops and brainstorming sessions with clients and internal teams.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

  • Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to deliver successful outcomes.

  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design intent.

Collaboration and Mentorship:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including workplace strategists, project managers, and technical designers.

  • Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and fostering professional growth.

  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing design culture.

Industry Knowledge and Innovation:

  • Stay informed about workplace design trends, materials, and sustainability practices.

  • Incorporate new ideas and technologies into design proposals to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

  • Represent the company at industry events, promoting the design expertise and portfolio.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience, with a strong background in workplace and commercial interiors.

  • Proven ability to lead client presentations and communicate design concepts effectively.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative workplace or commercial design projects.

  • Proficiency in design tools and software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
