Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to making an impact. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex, critical work and help maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6 am-6 pm) and Lates (12 pm-12 am).

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion

Ideal candidate profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning, especially those with experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Knowledge of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
