We are representing a leading international specialist in surface water drainage solutions, known for their commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. Covering the Southern Home Counties and South London, you will play a key role in driving sales growth, developing strong relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the civils, commercial, infrastructure, industrial, and residential sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute an area sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
  2. Deliver market growth by building relationships with contractors, groundworkers, civil engineers and merchants.
  3. Identify and target new business opportunities for project and stock sales.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams and provide technical guidance to customers.
  5. Maintain accurate records using the company CRM system.
  6. Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  7. Attend trade shows and industry events.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Proven track record in proactive, “hunter-style” sales.
  2. 5+ years’ experience in technical field sales (civils, drainage, or similar).
  3. Strong technical aptitude and ability to explain technical concepts.
  4. Self-motivated, results-driven, and a team player.
  5. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  6. Experience with CRM systems (desirable).
  7. Based within the territory or commutable distance.
