Why be a Performance Marketing Director at Cult Beauty?
This is a pivotal role in driving our growth and ensuring our brand remains at the forefront of the beauty industry. You will oversee a highly talented team of roughly 25 heads across Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliates, CRM and Influencers.
As a Performance Marketing Director you will:
Performance Marketing:
- Oversee all performance marketing channels, including PPC, influencers, affiliate marketing, and email marketing.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize these channels for maximum ROI.
- Continuously analyse and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
Budget Management:
- Set and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor spending and adjust budgets as necessary to maximize return on investment.
Cost of Sale (COS) Measurement:
- Monitor and measure COS to ensure marketing efforts are cost-effective and deliver desired results.
- Use data analytics to track and report on COS, identifying areas for improvement.
Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Cult Beauty's goals and drive growth.
- Work collaboratively with the Brand Director to develop innovative campaigns that resonate with our target audience and feel consistent across all touchpoints; both online and offline.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure marketing strategies are integrated with overall business objectives.
Channel Opportunities:
- Identify and evaluate incremental channel opportunities to expand Cult Beauty's reach and impact.
- Explore new and emerging marketing channels to stay ahead of industry trends.
Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM):
- Utilize MMM to analyse the effectiveness of marketing activities and guide investment decisions across the marketing funnel.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on MMM to optimize marketing spend and improve overall performance.
What skills and experience do I need for this role?
- Proven experience in a senior performance marketing role within an online retailer. Beauty would be advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience owning and optimising significant multi-million-pound budgets.
- Track record of driving new customer growth as a top-line priority, with a strong grasp of key KPIs / metrics e.g. COS, CAC, LTV, ROAS,
- Experience managing key global platform relationships (Google, Meta, TikTok) to drive strategic advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Creative thinker with a passion for beauty and wellness.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
